Success Story: Kintock Resident Accepted into Renowned Culinary Arts School to Pursue His Dream

Manuel Peeler, age 34, has always dreamed of becoming an Executive Chef. But before coming to Kintock nearly a year ago, that hope was a distant dream.


Recently, Mr. Peeler took his first steps to reaching his childhood dreams. In January, less than a year after his arrival at Kintock Bridgeton, Mr. Peeler was accepted into the renowned, Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College. At the Academy of Culinary Arts, he will pursue a two-year associate’s degree in Applied Science: Culinary Arts. This degree will bring him one step closer to his dreams coming true.


“Since, Mr. Peeler’s arrival at the Kintock Group he has been an exemplary resident. He has worked hard while in the Treatment and Work Release Program,” said Tiffany Novack, Director of Kintock’s Bridgeton Work Release Program. According to Mr. Peeler, “Kintock’s intervention has changed his life”.
