Reentry Programs Work - NJDOC Releases New Recidivism Outcome Report
Published April 1, 2026
The Data is Clear - Reentry Programs Work.
The release of the newest Recidivism Outcomes Report from the New Jersey Department of Corrections highlights the effectiveness of work release and residential reentry programs, stating that individuals who completed a Residential Community Reintegration Program (RCRP) had the lowest rates of reoffending, with only a 12% reincarceration rate.
This is more than a statistic - it’s proof that structured support, accountability, and access to resources can change outcomes and positively impact lives.
At Kintock, we see this impact every day in our NJDOC programs. Through comprehensive reentry services, workforce development, and community partnerships, we help individuals build stability, reconnect with their families, and move forward with purpose.
We are proud of our reentry programs in Newark and Bridgeton, New Jersey for providing these essential services daily. When we invest in reentry, we invest in safer communities, stronger families, and lasting change.
