We proudly acknowledge and congratulate our client Voshon for successfully completing Kintock’s Newark CRC Program after making a conscious decision to change his life.

“I was hitting the wall when I came out and wasn’t achieving any goals,” explained Voshon. “I wanted to better my life, and wanted to learn how to live differently.”

Recognizing the need for support, he took initiative and asked his Parole Officer to refer him to our Newark CRC. 

Through the support provided by our CRC, in collaboration with our Vantage Point Program, Voshon enrolled in the National Career Institute (NCI) HVAC and Electrical Assistant Certificate Training Program. He successfully completed the program and celebrated his graduation in February.

"I now have a career, not just a job,” states Voshon proudly.

Voshon credits the Newark CRC with helping him “take advantage of opportunities and bring out my greatness.” He also shared that the CRC helped him “better my situation” and expressed his intention to stay connected to keep the CRC updated on his continued “greatness.”
