Kintock Honors Junteenth
Kintock is proud to recognize and honor Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, Jubilee Day and Celebration Day, which commemorates the emancipation of the last remaining enslaved African Americans in the United States. In 2020, Kintock added Junteenth to its annual holiday calendar. Kintock is committed to stand in solidarity with the black community, building on the promise of this holiday which represents hope, freedom and new beginnings.
We hope this provides an opportunity to reflect upon and remember our history and reimagine our future.
To help celebrate this holiday, Kintock will hold a potluck lunch at each of its facilities and encourages staff to bring their favorite dish and wear something red, yellow and green.
