Kintock’s Philadelphia Residential Programs Awarded ACA Re-Accreditation

Kintock is extremely pleased to announce that its Erie Avenue program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania successfully underwent re-accreditation during an audit by the American Correctional Association (ACA) and achieved an outstanding perfect score of 100 percent on both mandatory and non-mandatory applicable standards.

“Please join me in congratulating the Philadelphia employees. I’m so happy to share with all of you that they have maintained their perfect score of 100% for their three-year ACA audit. This was just on the heels of their very successful PREA audit,” said Nicole Cucinotta, Corporate Compliance Officer.

The two-day audit took place October 15 and 16, 2019 and Kintock’s staff members Corey Davis, Site Administrator and Ms. Cucinotta were presented with the certificate of award at the ACA’s Winter Conference in San Diego, CA on January 11, 2020.

The auditors noted that it is evident that Kintock staff makes security a priority at the Philadelphia facility and really cares about the safety of the residents, staff and greater community, according to Ms. Cucinotta.

The American Correctional Association and the Commission on Accreditation for Corrections are private, non-profit organizations that administer the only national accreditation program for all components of adult and juvenile corrections. Accreditation is achieved through a series of reviews, evaluations, surveys and audits conducted by qualified ACA auditors. Programs are required to undergo the audit process every three years to maintain ACA accreditation status.
