A Tribute to Frank Buczynski
A Message from Kintock President and CEO Walt Simpkins:
“It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the unexpected passing of Frank Buczynski, our Bridgeton Director of Operations, in December.
While those of us here at Kintock will undoubtedly remember Frank as a respected leader and colleague, he will also be remembered as a loving husband, cherished father, caring brother and loyal friend.
Frank first joined the Kintock family in April 2012 and quickly rose through the ranks – from Operations Manager to Senior Manager of Operations and then to Director of Operations in 2021. Prior to his time with us at Kintock, Frank dedicated 25 years to the New Jersey Department of Corrections, serving at South Woods State Prison and Southern State Prison before retiring as a lieutenant.
Frank’s career was marked by an unwavering commitment to leadership and service, with many of those who had the honor and privilege of knowing and working with him praising his wisdom, sound character, integrity and friendship.
“I have enjoyed working alongside Frank for the last 12 years and am grateful to have gotten to know him not only as a colleague, but also a friend,” said Marcos DeJesus, Bridgeton Site Administrator. “Those who work closely with Frank know that his is a man of few words – however, he was also a man of profound integrity and deep compassion, qualities I admire and will remain with me forever. May the loving memories of Frank bring us all strength and comfort – rest in peace, my dear friend, until we meet again.”
“Frank was an inspiring leader who left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of working with him,” said Rasheeda Jones, Senior Operations Manager. “He led with compassion, wisdom and an infectious energy that motivated everyone to strive for excellence. Frank’s vision, dedication and unwavering support shaped not only the workplace, but also the lives of all those around him. While his passing is a profound loss for us all, his legacy will continue to guide and inspire.”
“I have had the privilege of working side-by-side with Frank throughout the years and am truly grateful for our friendship,” said Tiffany Novack, Program Direct at the Bridgeton Work Release Program. “He was a man of few words, but he had such great wisdom to share – and he was such a good friend, his loyalty reflective of his character and regard of those whom he truly loved and cared for most. Frank’s loss has been felt deeply by us all. Rest in peace, my friend.”
Frank will be deeply missed by all of us here at Kintock. While his absence leaves an irreplaceable void, we take solace in all of the memories he has left in our hearts – reminding us to lead with integrity, care deeply for others and find joy in all of life’s moments, big and small.
Rest in peace, Frank – your impact and legacy will live on. Our sincere condolences to his family, loved ones, colleagues and friends during this very difficult time.”
